The Disappointed House

Frank is back

Trippy

Round ladies are so much more interesting

Friends

It has been a while since I posted anything so I thought I better get back on track. This is Yaya and Bertie. Yaya looks like a very special owl I had when I was about Matilda's age. Bertie is named after Bertie Wooster who I adored growing up!

'Little Tim'

Dot

Little Dot is quite a sensitive soul. He is also a little camp and hates to get dirty. But secretly he does love Matilda and does not mind getting loved, hugged and roughed up a little bit.

..the cradle will fall

I never liked that lullaby - but it makes for great imagery.

"Harold and the Hammersmith Cats"

Frank the Pigeon

Jelly Fish Love

Marmite

Marmite was a dog that I never liked much. Dogs make me nervous. But on some occasions (he used to stare into the fireplace for hours) he looked pretty harmless and that is when I would draw him.

Ms. Poppy

Ms. Poppy Wyndham is a character from a story I am writing called "The Legend of Emeralds".

Typewriter

I need to get ribbons for my little portable typewriter - it has been sitting in my bedroom neglected for too long . I remembered it when I came upon a tiny little typewriter shop in Bayeux of all places. They sold Remingtons, Royal's, Woodstocks...! This was a drawing of my typewriter when I got is as a Christmas present from my sister. I was so delighted I drew it.

Cotton wool bag

I think his name is Frank..
